2015 Mississippi Celebrates Architecture Photography Competition!
CALL FOR ENTRY
“Mississippi Celebrates Architecture” is an annual program of events presented by The American Institute of Architects, Mississippi Chapter in order to promote architecture, art, and design within the Mississippi community. The event celebrates our architectural heritage and creativity and provokes us to consider the future of the built environment.
In conjunction with the MCA event, the AIA Mississippi is issuing an open call for photographs of architecture in Mississippi to be submitted for a competition and exhibit.
Architecture establishes a sense of place in our communities and environments. If you were to capture the tone of a culture, community, or place what architectural image would you use to do it?
Photograph an element of the built environment located within the state of Mississippi. Subject matter may be of any structure built by man, including but not limited to: historic and modern buildings, ruins, industrial sites, and prehistoric sites. Photos may be recently taken or from photographer’s own archived collection.
